The cover photograph of Gelsemium sempervirens is the work of Ralph Lyon.

Ralph Lyon is a wonderful photographer and I am ever so happy to have come across his work.  The big photograph is of the most useful remedy in severe influenza where the patient rapidly develops a high fever and other troubling symptoms.  Although not well known to the general public, Gelsemium sempervirens at the right dose is a lovely remedy that is used to calm the heart, avert migraines, and quiet an agitated response to influenza.  I think Ralph's photograph completely captures its wonderful qualities.   You can see many of his other photographs at flickr.com.   If you would like to own a print of one of his photographs contact him at lyon_ralph@yahoo.com
